Crew Call & Local Musicians get cast in Short Film

 2/4/2010
Local musicians Jennifer Plummer and Paul DiSalle have been cast for lead roles in the short musical film “Strings” for Uno Park & 17 West Productions.

The film will be directed by Sudbury native, Mat Cousineau.

An open casting call was held at the offices of Music and Film in Motion in July.

The story centers on a talented singer/songwriter who is about to leave town in pursuit of his musical career. What begins as a music filled goodbye party with friends becomes an emotional reunion when a former girlfriend shows up for the send-off.

Sudbury’s Ian MacDonald will produce under his Uno Park banner alongside producer Eric Gamache and writer Jason McKinnon of Toronto-based 17 West.

Shooting is scheduled to take place August 2010 in the Sudbury area
