| Coming to the Sudbury Symphony Conservatory of Music in September 2010! The Yamaha Drum Course (ages 8 to adult) Register for a FREE Trial Class! Dates: Friday, June 11 at 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 23 at 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 13 at 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Location: The Free Trial Class will be held in the new state-of-the-art facility of the The Yamaha Drum Course teaches not only kit playing, but proper stick technique and reading skills. The up-to-date material and accompaniments make this the ideal starting point for all drummers. The Drum Course is divided into three levels: 8 -12 yrs; 13-18 yrs; and 19+. The course focuses on popular music styles, like rock, funk, and jazz. You'll learn how to keep solid time, how to play fills at the right time, and how to get a solid and pleasing tone out of the drum kit.
